Although set in what seems to be like a boring city, the short stories open new possibilities for certain sequence of events (fictional) to actually take place. Very much diverse in terms of characters and approach to the lion city, this novel is an interesting look-out into the love life of people residing, or at least, standing in Singapore. This book also includes a couple of gay romances which are unusually hilarious, heartbreaking and hopeful.
