Send in the Clones

As a crazed science-fiction fan, Darren used to wonder about the clones and troopers in Star Wars universe. Clones were bred for a single purpose. Yet, they too must lead individual lives – they fight, eat, sing, hurt, lose their tempers and of course … love. Are we so different? We like to think of ourselves as individuals, unique, one of a kind. But the more we grow, the more we seek, the more it is apparent that we are the same. For the clone in all of us.

Send in the Clones is Darren Sim’s first solo-exhibition. Running from 14 January to 13 February at DYMK, the exhibition opens daily from 6pm to 1am, 3am on weekends.

Check out the facebook event page here.

And since Rocky Horror show is ending in a day time, check out their opening/closing number titled Science Fiction Double Feature here 😉
