Join local filmmaker Loo Zihan (Autopsy (part of Singapore Short vol.2), Embryo, Solos, Chancre, Threshold) in an evening of exploring personal, ethnic, sexual and national shame; as he reviews his recent performance, installation and moving image work in relation to the transference of the affect of shame. The works he will cover includes personal documentary and experimental films and performance work executed while pursuing his MFA in Chicago.

Winner of several Silver Screen Awards for his short films over the years, his debut feature filmSandcastle premiered last year to rave reviews at Cannes Film Festival’s International Critics’ Week. Come spend a night with Boo Junfeng and five personal picks of his own short films. Fans of the writer-director who made Keluar Baris and Tanjong Rhu will also get to meet with the filmmaker himself in a post-screening Q&A session.
